Where You Ever There?
Where you ever there?
No you weren't.
You weren't there to watch me grow up.
You never sent me anything for my birthday.
I don't want your money I just want you time.
Did you ever call me or try to be apart of me?
I don't think so.
You never were apart of me.
You're not my dad.
You never were.
The only way Im your daughter is by blood.
Theres a part that will always be missing, and only my dad can fill that hole.
When I was little I never understood why you weren't there, but know i do.
You only wanted to go out and drink all the time, and leave my mom home to take care of me.
People, other girls know what if feels like to have a bond with their dad.
But I'll never know.
It's too late.
