October
They Sky is gray, Rain drizzles down
White caps roar by the bay, as boats sail from town
I lye in my bed, where I want to stay
For surely this is an October day.
Leaves of a thousand colors, Swirl as I drive by
Rays of sun beam the field, Oh my Oh my
Pumpkin lit candles fill the room
For surely I am in an October mood.
The moon is bright, glowing in full
Owls creep in their nest, Nature takes it’s toll
I light my cigar, and begin to write
For surely this an October night.
