In the Dark...
I've been shut up in the dark and I want out
But I'm kept in by my own doubt,
Cause I don't believe enough in the light-
But I know enough about the night
To know that this isn't how I want to end up-
Down and out; shut up,
And completely worn out before I'm ever discovered
But in order to get out I have to surrender,
To a world unseen and far away
But how does that seem any better than my dark days?
