When all is quiet and full of fright
There comes the sound of an owl
The bird of prey sits in a tree
Unseen and unheard as it calls
Once upon a moonless night
Waiting to take the kill
Some poor creature with no hope
When all is quiet and full of fright
When the bird swoops down
And eats the mouse
