Fairytale
This fairytale is mine.
A tale where melodies refuse to chime.
There promises are shot,
And left to die and rot.
But all you can do is pretend you're fine.
A tale where fake romance consumes the kind,
Those so blinded they miss a bad sign,
Those who fight pain with everything they've got.
This fairytale is mine.
A tale where outcomes seldom shine,
Because love is like a little, weak vine.
Where untrue lovers scheme and plot,
Who hope and pray to not get caught,
But all unfolds in a matter of time.
This fairytale is mine.
