Hero
Reawakened now,
A ghost, turned lover,
“Goodnight,” you whisper,
As my eyes grow dim.
The white-yellow lights grow larger,
And hazy as if they were
Dissolving in water.
Your soft voice sends me into sweet sleep,
As my eyes fall closer to being shut,
Each glittering light becomes two.
Baby white flowers, multiplying.
With you here, singing my lullaby,
To me each night,
I could double every light in the world,
And save it from darkness.
