The Beautiful Night

A flash, and then was gone
And in the dead
And in the black
The perfect crime
The perfect storm
We love the rise and dread the set
Yet in the night we see the stars
We see the moon and blood-red Mars
And then a flash, when all was gone
A spark if will
The sky was lit
The perfect game
The perfect pitch
More brilliant in the night
A sign of beauty and of might
A sun, and then it set
And in the blue
And down with gold
He slipped, fell, was cast
And then a world, open, beautiful, and vast

I love it! Probably one of my favourites right now. I already have a deep passion and love for starry nights and lightning storms and i think you captured it perfectly and if not even more so. I just simply love it!
