Little Bear, Please Don't Cry
Little Bear, please don't cry,
Please don't run away and hide.
Your feelings that are buried deep,
Sing them away if you have to,
But you don't need to be alone to keep,
The burden that haunts inside you.
Little Bear, I am here,
I'll help you wipe away those sad tears.
My words alone may not help but I'll try my best,
After all you are my dearest friend.
To be there for you has always been my quest,
And to make you smile is what I intend.
"Hey Little Bear, what's wrong now?"
A question I'll ask when that smile is no longer around.
What makes you hide away all of your sorrow,
And place a mask on your face to pretend you are okay?
Is it true that you'll cry yourself to sleep but say you're fine tomorrow?
Tell the truth, Little Bear; are you really alright today?
Please Little Bear, please don't cry,
You're not alone; I'm by your side.
I'm not asking you to laugh it all away,
I'm asking you to talk to me.
I won't judge you so don't be afraid,
We are only human, aren't we?
