We all want to be a star
An actor, a singer
An athlete, a model
But in the end there just
Just like us under all the make up
Behind all the glamour
There just like us
They might dream harder
They might work faster
But what happens
When their dreams are obliterated
Behind the money
They were us
The stars are just something
Something for kids to look up to
To dream to be a star
We all want to be
Be a star
When we grow up
So chase the dream
The American dream
And remember there just like us
