Death is not the end
I sit in my room all alone, looking at your picture
You are so pretty
I wish that you could be here with me
But you are gone
You are up in heaven with Jesus Christ, and you are looking down at me, trying to teach me something but I do not understand
I lay there in the grass and look up at the sky
I image what it's like to die
I fall asleep and in my dream I see you, walking towards me
You hold my hand and smile and your words I'll never forget
For you said in a soft, warming voice "Death is not the end."
