Heights
The air is stiff as a breeze drifts between my legs
Climbing steep and innocent with a weighted step
Shaking and breathless I’m miles above
Distance is my enemy as I glare down below
Nothing holds me up, not even the ground
Lonely and tall I feel weightless
My feet are like heavy rocks pulling me down with each delicate stride
With constricted breathing, my feet began to tremble more
The air is heavy and yet there is a chance I may fall
