poems..... a sonnet

Poems are like little windows of emotion
Open to let you see the writer’s soul
Not shut nor up for negotiation
They relay thought that the poet can’t toll
Poems eject the unknown in all of us
They let us reach further down to our hearts
And make us see what lies in the depths stress
In which we can pour out our bottles parts
Poems help the lost navigate thru the maze
They supply a comfort of which can heal
Some damaged soul or forgotten ballets
Leading them to better days they can feel
Poems are an amazing way to let go
Everyone has something to outgrow
