Walking through the water’s tongue of caress,
The powdery sand of the soft current press;
Cooling my blood, the deep silky sea,
Running along my skin with luxury;
Flickering light glimpsing through cracks of stones,
And the sun kissing tenderly the depth of my bones;
My lips, quivering with the whip of the wind,
Circling around my face that has faded...thinned;
A smile breaks over my face from release,
The proximity of Heaven’s prevailing peace;
Unnerving the flesh that has grown aged by day,
Replenishes my spirit as I’m carried away.

This is so deep and beautiful . . . like the water. I love the lines: A smile breaks over my face from release,

The proximity of Heaven’s prevailing peace;

Unnerving the flesh that has grown aged by day . . .

P.S. I saw your "About Me." I love Jane Eyre, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and Johnny Depp too. Funny.
