Eyes ‘oped feeling hot summer sand under bare feet,
Like love’s revealing doors,
Heart hidden behind years of treacherous misery,
Takes its time to find the master key within.
Diversity in every grain, harbors new life,
As tides wash away memories of ages past,
New tide comes rushing in, offering escape, a fresh start,
Old heartbreak magically disappears from mind and body.
Soothing voices of distant waves,
Tell stories of a promising future,
Tranquility provides a bed of lush roses,
Laying down the heart, swept away by love
