One more time I’ll breath in the scent of evil.
Fresh off your skin, like too much cologne.
One more chance I’ll give you.
I just can’t take it anymore.
Day after day I stumble,
Like a blind man through a fog.
Your scent of evil keeps me stumbling.
Forever, it feels like I’m falling.
I’m tired of all these lies you come with,
Like they’re part of you.
I’m tired of being told things about you.
One more time I’ll breathe in evil.
One more time I’ll look you in the eye and stare.
I can’t take the pressure.
It’s just not something I am willing to handle.
Change your scent.
All will be better.
Till I smell roses, you’re evil.
I love you, yet I hate you.
I care, yet I am careless.
Come to me and change.
The sunset will be our backdrop.
Our life will be our song.
Change your scent and come to me.
I love you. Trust me.

The scent of evil can be comprehended in any way that you want. Most are probably going to consider it an actual scent, like smoke or pot. I, however, did not look at this "scent" as an actual "scent". It's more of an abstract quality. I'm not sure how to describe it.

Hey!

I loved the abstractness of the poem. Like you described, I really understand what you mean. It was really cool and unique. =D
