I would be famous for...
If I was famous I would be famous for my singing
I would blow people away
I would have a show every other hour of the day
My cooking would be glorious
I would have my own show
I would have every recipe the world has ever known
I would write novels in my spare time
And I'd soon start number sixty-three
When I turned thirteen
And when I found an open spot in my day
I would star in a commercial or two
And then go to my next big movie on Fifteenth Ave.
People wouldn't be able to get enough of me
Because there were so many things I could do
And still have time for my children Mark and Mary Lou
People call me a dreamer
People call me a schemer
But when I'm famous they'll all be sorry
For not believing in me
There are some inconveniences
Some small problems with out a doubt
That my singing breaks peoples glasses
And I've burned everything in my cooking classes
And I haven't learned to write quite yet
And I've never practiced on a real acting set
Because no one will give me a part
I'm terribly afraid of pain and don't think I'll have children
People can't wait to get AWAY from me
And don't you see
My dreaming was never meant to be
