A New Beginning
January 31, 2009
The sorrow and contempt that has coexisted with my being
has clouded my life so as I can no longer see the joy.
My past and present are plagued by this fog of hate and deception.
The dim light of a future, of what could be,
is just barely visible through the smoke and ruin.
Only I can escape the fate that life has so undeniably given me.
Only I can create a new future.

Hey....You commented on some poetry I wrote. Thanks for the honest advice. Waiting for one comment on somthin I've written for months now. You're writing, by the way is very good. Kinda like the alter-ego of mine. Just to let you know, by the sound of your comment you assumed I'm depressed. I'm not. It's weird....I can only write about sad things. Everything else comes out like trash when I finish it.
