She Awaits
He awaits in a silent solitude
For the looming footsteps long foreseen
For the sweet fragrance so familiar
For the needed feeling not forgotten
He awaits in still equanimity
For the one took with no forewarning
For the one whose body lays lifeless
For the one whose spirit he knows endures
She was powerless to escape in life
Interned in hopelessness and despair
Unable to break his baleful grasp
Abandoned in the abyss of bondage
Her only escape deaths beckoning call
He awaits with an iniquitous love
For the omnipotence once possessed
For the dominance loosed by the grave
For the soul he could once again consume
He awaits evoking her from the grave
For what was took he will once more have
For death will not claim that which is his
For he will have her for eternity
She insidiously moves upon him
Harboring the coldness of the tomb
An encompassing unholiness
Death itself a victims liberator
She must confront the agony suffered
He awaits sensing her vengeful essence
For she surrounds him as a death shroud
For she is nothing as remembered
For her wrath can no longer be contained
He awaits immersed in trepidation
For the unsanctified not foretold
For imposed anguish shall be avenged
For she will allow no solace from death
She embraces him with icy fingers
His misery shall have no ending
He must suffer the ceaseless torment
He mercilessly inflicted on her
He must now face what he has created
