Mother or Foe

Fighting back the tears
trying to numb the pain
looking for a distraction
to keep me from going insane
making up reasons for why im living
and they ever seem to make sense
wishing i could cut my heartout
to just end my pian
she calls herself my mother and i call her my enemy
she kicks me when im down
and makes me cry when i am weak
she gave me life
and now she trys to control it
she swears everything affects only her
shes stuck in her own little selfcentered bubble
where she pretends to care about others
shes my mother i love her
but god knows i cant stand her
