That Last Good-bye
He came with the intention to go
His eyes were hard and cold
I knew this day was coming
I knew I should of start running
A long time ago
When I may see him again?
The world may never know
It was silent
That brought back the mere attention I had left on the world
'No' I said as loud as possible
There could never be another girl
Another girl that shared the love we once had
Or could have had
Now no one knows the end
No one knows what could have lied ahead
He touched my cheek and smile
Giving me little reassurance
That satisfied me for the moment
He walked away and that was it
All I could comprehend
He came and he went
Leaving me with my blob of mascara tears
He said he'll leave eventually
All I could croak is 'Why'
He said 'because this is the final good-bye
