What is Life?
Someone once asked “What is life?”
I tried to come up with an answer,
 Tried with all my might.

 Is it a blank canvas,
 Waiting for its paint
 And you, the artist,
 Have no rules or restraints.
You paint your feelings on the wall,
Paint your values, paint them all.
 Independence, honesty, hope, and love.
Or is it a heavenly gift from above?

 Is it the galaxy,
 In which you’re a star?
 Shine bright enough and maybe
Someone will know who you are.

Is it a piece of seaglass
 So smoothe and delicate?
 Cast into the ocean
 A thousand times over,
Or maybe it is a four leaf clover.
