City Boy and The Farm Girl
A truly pleasant sight,
Twinkling stars in the daylight.
Stars not above the sky,
Perched upon her forehead, I sigh!
A garden no less than that of heavens,
Mesmerizing symphony like that of Beethoven's.
Singing a hymn in her native tongue,
Not knowing the language, I too began to sung.
She gazed at me, I looked at her,
Time freeze. Nothing moved, not even a fur.
"What brought you here city boy?" She broke the silence,
Lost in my world, I showed my compliance.
"Something that the city can't give," I replied
"There's nothing city can't give…" She denied
Continued she, "everything is easier than farm chores."
I flirted, "Time, peace, and beauty like yours."
She blushed. Her face turned red,
I continued to add more and more thread.
"The beauty of your farm, can't lie in that building…
Never got the feeling, that I got from your singing."
"So you are a liar too, I thought you weren't…
Talk about the comforts and the job that pays rent."
A mischievous look took upon her face,
Said she, "I know it's hard to run at that pace."
"But what got you here, at this solitary farm?"
Looked into her eyes, I said, "I think your charm."
To feel each others breath, we got more closer,
Held her hands, and I whispered, "I want to be a villager."
"Other than holding breath, what else you do?"
"I've heard you sing, I can write for you."
"What else these hands have written so far?"
"Nothing! Till now they were living without a heart."
Blushed again. Never seen a more reddish face,
Got more closer, hearts at the fastest pace.
Looked into my eyes, then she gave me a kiss,
Love happens magically, no less than bliss.
