The Fear
The thing I fear most in life,
Has nothing to do with life at all
It is the opposite: death
To some, a great, dense wall
It cannot be cheated,
For death will always win
As the days go on and on,
To some, the days get grim
However we must celebrate
For all good things accomplished
And remember the days of youth
With all those memories cherished.
And now my heavy eyes begin to close
The light becoming shadows
I remember running as a child
Through the beautiful gold of meadows
