Shadows of the Labyrinth
I walk in the forest of my deepest fears.
My thoughts, and who I am is in a vessel.
The show is free to all those who appear,
Together instinct and strategies wrestle.
I’m stuck in a labyrinth, lost in a maze.
The cold stiff air breathes down my neck.
The euphoric embrace begins to cave.
I’m constantly turning my head to check,
That the monster is not behind me.
All I need is one missed glance to cost.
The adrenaline of the intensity,
Always running just getting more lost.
In the labyrinth for an eternity.
For every second that I stay longer,
The vessel just cracks, and cracks quickly,
And more shadows creep around the corners.
Soon I’ll freeze before I become free.
Only an essence of memories will fill.
Looks like the monster has had defeat.
Only my vanishing eyes show the real.
