You Don't Know It....
To the adorable red haired senior, That sits next to me in band.
You don’t know it,
But I would give anything,
Just to hold your hand.
To the first boy,
To make me feel special in years.
You don’t know it,
But you’ve helped me,
Conquer my tears.
To the artistic guy,
That I talk poetry to.
You don’t know it,
But you made me see,
That maybe good guys aren’t so few.
You don’t know it,
But my face lights up,
When your name blinks across my phone.
I know it will be a text message,
Laced with your charming wit.
You don’t know…yet,
But maybe someday,
I’ll be able to tell you,
All these things without a fret.
