Rescued
January 27, 2011
Shadows drift all around me,
Imagining, that someone’s found me,
Memories that are incased within,
Stay with me, through thick and thin.
My family’s photo I hold on to tight,
I know I won’t give up this fight,
A light above me flickers through,
And hope within me is renewed.
My eyes squeezed shut, my thoughts adrift,
As I’m slowly, being lift,
The hope inside me sparks to life,
As I calmly cease to fight,
My faith in miracles, has come through,
As t realize, I’ve been rescued.

I really like this one, too! The beginning is really beautiful. And the middle, okay the whole thing is great! Spelling error in the last line. I'd maybe think of an alternative for As I'm slowly being lift. It's okay...but push yourself to do your best!
