Dakota
Flowers weep. Smiles fade.
The sky goes black. I wish you had stayed.
Stayed here on this earth with me and your friends.
Dakota why did you think your road ends.
God took you away. And ended your pain.
But Dakota since you’ve been gone. Nothing’s the same.
Your contagious laughter still rings in my ears.
I’m so glad I got to know you through those four years.
I miss your jokes and bright smile.
I miss your big hugs when we didn’t see each other for a while.
I know your love was strong as ever.
Dakota forget you? I will never.
