You and me were once a pair
No matter win or lose.
We were always together
We were eachothers amuse.

We held hands and laughed,
Like two silly love birds.
January slowly came,
And our lives became backwards.

We started to argue
And we started to cry.
This life together,
Wasn't for you and I.

We were so young,
Not knowing what to do.
We both gave up hope,
Hope on what we both knew.

Acceptance was our enemy.
And timing was so cruel.
What had happened to us?
This thing called love became a duel.

I suppose weakness took over me,
And you suddenly won.
Because what was a table for two,
Became a table for one.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, but learning to dance in the rain.

Love the last two lines! It closed the poem nicely! Overall, nice job!

Life is a maybe. Death is for sure. Sin is the cause. Christ is the cure. :)

Love is the breath of God, and prayer is the melody that makes it sing.

If you cant annoy someone, there's no point in writing.

Love is overrated, marry for money.

Wow, this is realy amazing! I love how everything rhymed so well! Great job on this!
