Frozen Tears Of A Dying Swan
Hold me up into the morning light so the sun can kiss my face
Breathe into me a new life so I can be in a better place
Who am I but a splendid soul you've chosen to lay to waste
I always saw you as the brightest star in the sky, yet to you I was just a disgrace
Don't lie to me I was just another victim of your ways
I'll admit you've never changed yet you never cease to amaze
You were just a prize and a trophy on the shelf so dusty and forgotten
I took a bite of the fruit yet I found it's essence to be cold and rotten
I could never see you in the arms of someone else
But in the jack of trades of aces and of queens I was the just the king of jokes
A laugh at my expense may be granted, but you broke my heart just to see where the pieces landed
Another time another place maybe I could catch one more glimpse of your face
One day I led my life astray, you burnt the remnants of my soul
I wait and stitch every wound and scar yet I'll never seal this hole
Lost in your eyes I always thought I found my way
Until every second spent thinking of you, meant one more time you were gone away
Don't lie to me, don't tell me I was someone special when you gaze into the iris of his heart
Christmas is soon approaching, but you can't have mine back when it's already been torn apart
No don't lie to me, because I recall every bitter pain before I was blinded in November
I carry you always with me, but I must move on my sweet, I just hope you'll still remember...........
