There is strength in the kingdom
That crumbles and soon falls
There is beauty in the rain
Of a world that once stood tall
There is music in the sound
Of a breaking heart
And lies in every breath
That vows to never part
There is laughter in the breeze
Of a lonely night
And silence in the knowledge
That soon the skies will fight
There is beauty in the breakdown
A hymn of unseen truth
Grace in all the years
Spent haunted by your youth
God built the world with tears
His gift to us is pain
In hopes that we may learn
There is beauty in the rain
