Known stranger down the road
Hesitancy greets you
Though eager soul desires embrace
The mind doubts you true
A topic of heavy study
Arguments circle inside the head
But each fails to act
To swoop down, pronounce you dead
Every circle you’re a step closer
Watched by wary quavering eye
Making the heart leap with glee
And the child want to cry
Seeds of love for you are planted
They grow with excitement each day
Blooming into flowers of knowledge
That will help you along your way
