there are girls on my left, and girls on my right
but when the days over, I'm alone every night
they say I'm too sweet, they say I'm too good
i wish someone would say it, a way i understood
just tell me in person, say it to my face
cause there's emotion in a voice, a text message can't replace
either you like me or not, don't beat around the bush
don't take my heart to the edge, just to give it a push
you can say it to my face, just do it from the start
and whatever you do, just don't lead on my heart
