The Magnif'cent Tree

Oh the great magnif'cent tree,
How many types are there to see?
Oak and birch and evergreen,
Big and small and thick and lean.
Oh the great magnif'cent tree,
On the mountains of B.C.
In the province P.E.I.,
In your own backyard,oh my!
Oh the great magnif'cent tree,
To its shelter creatures flee.
Squirrels climb it all about,
Little bugs crawl in and out.
Oh the great magnif'cent tree,
Children play around with glee.
With its royal leafy crown,
All other plants seem to bow down.
