Celebration of a Blond Baby Girl
Sweet swelled into her
like a black hole.
Innocent blond baby
killing ants—
unearthing their mini cities
while she was
blinded by her locks
array.
I can see her to this day:
they hung in her face,
her mind only sought sick, curious
cat-play.
Sweet swelled into her
like a black hole:
imploding earth
as if words were liars
and
up
up was
but
down was
sideways…
she sucked me in; my baby was
the bug killer.
Oh, how I loved her. Remembrance.
