A Smile From Nowhere
I walk into the shady building, it looks peaceful and the light is blaring around me. The air is windy and the sun is shinning, I look around it must be a couple of years later from now, or am I in the present?
As I smell the calming scent of fresh lavender it somewhat feels like a dream,
I continue to walk around the round floor, I see a garden it looks pretty and I notice some dragonflies, it is lovely.
Behind it I see a home covered by grasping plants over the high walls. I somehow know where I am headed but still lost, as I walk I notice the pond beside me and how quiet it is, in front of me is a tall wall and a wooden door stands between it, I softly push the wooden door open, I am calm yet my heart is racing.
The large checkered tiles and vintage chairs catch my attention and the sunlight shines in the wide-open space.
I am suppose to see somebody but its empty.
“Hello” calls out an expected voice; the tone is calm and has a sense of enthusiasm, I slowly turn around, and suddenly everything is perfect and I know why I am here.
“Hey” I smile.
