The stars in the night sky
Have you ever gazed up at the stars
And thought about your life so far?
What do you hold dear to your heart
Have all of the pieces of your life fallen apart?
Are you sad, the darkest shade of blue
Is there nothing in this world that could ever save you?
Do you think that it's the end, is everything lost?
Have you given up, does fighting for what you believe just have to great a cost?
Do your problems seem to be as wide as the great big sky?
Do you trust no one, you aren't even willing to try?
You believe that time isn't on your side
You can't face the world, so you've decided to hide
It's just to hard to say what you should
You don't believe you can, you never thought you could
The looking glass is not just broken, it's shattered everywhere
Now you cannot see clearly, all you can do is stare
Stare blindly into the dark
All you have is fear and fear always leaves a mark
You need to stop pretending to be something you are not
Because you owe it to yourself and then you'll have a shot
A shot at happiness and maybe even love
But you have to give it all you've got, it cannot be a bluff
At the end of the day, looking up at the stars you are a dream come true
Everyone deserves happiness and that definitely includes you
Each star in the sky is someone who's feeling a little lost and scared
You aren't alone, don't give up, that just isn't fair
Happiness isn't handed to you, so you'll have to fight
Put the pieces back together and never lose sight
Sight of the big picture, what's really going on
Have faith in yourself and just hold on, be inspired and prepared for dawn!

As many stars as there are in the sky at night are people that feel lost. You are never alone and there will always be a new day, so do not give up.
