Lay Me Down
Lay me Down,
Down by the land to which I’m bound.
Burn my Heart in my acidic Lies,
Hide the ashes so it cannot have more Ties.
I plead you to let my soul Free,
Free of containment and lust of the woman I’d be.
Take my soul to Elysium to be purified,
Where the Heroes and Gods reside.
Just lay me Down,
Down in the land where I’m forever bound.
Hide my Mind,
Do so for it is not Kind.
Please… Just free Me,
Rob me of Life and Present me to Death with a cup of Tea.
Crush my mortal body to Dust for which to return,
Dust to Dust, perhaps I’ll Burn.
Lay me Down,
Lay me Down in the Realm to which I’m Bound.
Remove my Feet,
Oh Please oh Please, so I may not escape Defeat.
Rob me of Thought,
And put my Head in a grave that cannot be Bought.
Guide my hand to the Gods…
So I may stop becoming Lost.
One last time Lay me Down,
Down in the Fields of Elysium where I can be Found.
Hopefully, I’ll stay Here,
Void of Lust and Pain so I may not shed a Tear.
