Dead of Night
Whispering is what I hear in the dead of Night
Whilst we walk together without the Light.
Where we talk amongst one another
In a manner so quiet like a sweet mother.
We caress one another within the mind
The mind in which we dwell.
We are beings of a special kind
Stuck with thoughts we didn’t sell.
We bounce around with ease
In some unfortunate soul’s head.
Too bad it’s us she can’t appease
That’s why she lays in bed.
Stuck with a whisper in the dead of night
Where we walk without the Light.
We don’t mind her mental agony
Breaking her will of mahogany.
