Stage Fright
My cheeks were pink, I could barely think. The lights were bright and each word was a fight. My knees, they wobbled, as I sputtered and bobbled. My mother was right, I have stage fright. The audience cheered but I stood there and feared. What was to come, my toes were going numb. I could not think straight, I was not doing great. What would they think; probably that I stink! Was my act almost done? Either way I would run... Right off of the stage in the flip of a page! The music was loud and so was the crowd, but I was quite shy... I wanted to cry. Unfortunately I have no more might, I should just face it: I have stage fright.
