I will not be ashamed of
My mistakes
When I tell my story
I will tell it with confidence
When I tell my story
I will say how my looks were based
On how everyone “knew me”
When I tell my story
Don't expect me to feel sorry
For the bad things I have done
But accept the fact that I have overcome them
When I tell my story
I will tell you that I am independent and
Have been my whole life
When I tell my story
I will tell it exactly how it should be told
Because it is my story
