Speaking Art
I speak art and so do you. It’s the only thing we truly understand about each other. This afternoon, speaking art meant just being, existing beside one another like stars, like trees, like mountains. The very act of keeping the noise inside ourselves instead of pouring it into the world like a broken kitchen faucet that turning on the tap could hope for right now. We’re simply taking in the world. Accepting it into our souls without comment, or judgement, marveling all the colors floating in through our pupils instead of past our lips and doing it together. That is beautiful. So come, sit and drink tea and speak art with me.
