Society's Flaws

Society is flawed,
It leaves those who cannot catch up, those who are different in the dust,
Tells us we either belong or we don't,
Watches us drown in our fear and our depression,
Society crushes us right before telling us that there is hope,
Is there hope in a world so flawed and tattered,
So broken and ashamed,
Yes there is, but we have to find it.
