Fat Furry Caterpillar

Slowly inching across the towering grass,
the fat furry caterpillar seeks something to eat till he’s stuffed.
Making sure he goes unnoticed by the creatures above,
he hopes to make it another day.
The caterpillar starts to build it’s beautiful chrysalis,
around it’s fat, furry self.
It’s silk chrysalis consumes him for shelter,
until he is ready to blossom.
Breaking out of the chrysalis, the butterfly,
sees the world.
The butterfly flies to flowers,
collecting it’s nectar.
