it was endless
but that’s what didn’t happen.
she never found him. she was lost in the tunnel. the tunnel that was bright, colorful, convincing. the tunnel that told her she could make it out, she could hope for an ending, she could find an ending. the tunnel that she was stuck in.
she felt lonely. she felt like she wasn’t herself, like a part of her was missing, like she was searching for an end that would never come. she was tired. she was tired of trying so hard, tired of failing, tired of looking for an end. she radiated darkness in a tunnel of color, she was lost with a map right in front of her.
she found another path. a path that was brighter, that was more colorful, that persuaded her. the path that led to the sea. the sea that was filled with no waves, with no movement, with emptiness. the sea that was grey. she took a leap.
The Endless Sea.
and he never found her.
