Everything of Myself
On day one of always,
I was naught.
Day two came
And went,
And still,
I was as nothing
As I had ever been.
The flavor of something
Is never as punching
As it is made out to be.
For on the third day,
I drank in the nectar
Of glorious something,
And spit it out.
I think I may be better off
Being nothing
Of everyone else
As long as I am everything
Of myself.
