Fear Wants To Eat Me
Fear crawls up our
spines into our brains
Overriding our emotions
Fear turns us into
People who cower
In the dark shadows
Fear controls us
And turns us into
Its slaves
Fear makes us cry
Every night before
We sleep like
Babies without their mothers
Fear makes us wake up
With a pain in our chest
That make us want to
Drown in our sorrows
Fear keeps us silent
In a place where we
Want to yell for the
Help of others around us
Fear crumbles up all
Our confidence, pride
And hope
Leaving a fragile skeleton
Able to break with one light
touch
