My Friend

I had other friends before
but I guess you could say they all walked out the door
They excluded me instead of including me
I felt like they had secrets and were not honest
I did not have the same things they did
I almost felt as though when they new I was on they hid
They never asked me I always asked them
I found someone who’d talk first
And never walk away
I found someone who’d never exclude but include me
Now I have a real friend
One that does not keep secrets
One that does not care what I have or don’t have
One that asks me first
She’s my friend
