Here all nature lies still, Serene
Firebird
Rushes down in a rare feat of combustion
Snowtrace
Rests frosty tendrils on the air above hard ground
Emitting a fog that gently creeps among everything
Undergrowth
Pushes voracious roots through itself
Breaking — green light through green light out to yellow light in the sun
A dance of brambles and demure petals
And soft, soily leaves that sway in eternal sigh
And combustion
Oblivion
Void of negative blackness, weightless, sheer absence
Plastered onto presence in the sweltering sun
Swing air currents across broken wings
Fill holes of mouths gaping
The sea and the trees
Anchored down to themselves
Tremble in a slow measure of stable existence
Here lie still, Serene
Here all nature lies still, Serene
