Change
Do you think I am a passing breeze
A tumbling leaf you can take no notice of
Do you think I will sit in my corner,
Keep quiet and follow the rules
Do you think the people you remember kept quiet,
Followed the rules and were never out of place.
The ones that make a difference were the thunderstorms,
The crashing waves, the obnoxious alarm,
I am no quiet child,
Sitting in my corner.
I am the obnoxious alarm you can’t shut up,
I am the long thunderstorm you can’t just sit through,
I am the force you will have to comply to.
You think the world is perfect?
If it was,
People like me,
Wouldn’t be here.

There are so many things wrong with our world. Problems that are not being addressed properly, and I'm hoping that this poem might inspire something in people to stand up and fight for what they believe in. Only when people actually start to take action will we see a change in our world. You can't expect to see the world change while doing nothing.
