Rays of Sunshine

At the center of boredom,
a grey quail snores a tranquil melody.
Inside the swirl of loneliness lies,
a tangerine ray of hopeful sunshine.
Below rock bottom,
a sleeping swan awaits a new day.
After the sting of defeat,
a golden road ripens with opportunity.
Above the hiding place of rain,
a bed of roses readies, eager to grow.
